Build a Hooper: observed September 6, 2026

Its public homepage describes 13 skill picks, Classic, Blind and Chaos modes, and an 82-game season simulation. It also displays a live leaderboard and optional Pro offering. Those are descriptions observed on its site, not independently audited claims about its simulation or revenue.

Player Lab: this implementation

Eight fixed statistical-trait rounds, an explicit normalization formula, local saved builds and seeded challenge links. Classic mode has no season simulation. The new Lab mode adds free attribute assignment, two re-rolls, daily seeds and a clearly fictional ten-season career. Neither mode has an online leaderboard, account or subscription.

Compare evidence, not just ratings

The same number can mean different things in two games. Player Lab explains its own formula and current dataset status. We have not verified Build a Hooper’s complete rating methodology, so we do not claim our model is more accurate.
